Whether you notice an issue or not, regular maintenance is essential for your bike to operate safely and efficiently. Preventative care is both cost-effective and beneficial in the long run, extending your bike’s lifespan and providing countless problem-free, enjoyable miles on the road.
At Cycle Central, our workshop is fully equipped, and our mechanics have years of experience working on all types of bikes—from road, triathlon, and gravel to hybrids and e-bikes.
We are highly skilled in working with Campagnolo EPS, Shimano Di2, and SRAM eTap electronic and wireless systems, in addition to conventional cable system.

Lee
Lee has over 30 years of experience as an engineer and has also run his own business. A passionate cyclist, if it has wheels, metal, carbon, or fibre, chances are Lee has ridden it—and worked on it. He values creative solutions, attention to detail, and delivering real value.
Naomi
Naomi has spent her career working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of client-focused businesses. She’s been the unsung hero in companies around the world, quietly keeping everything running seamlessly.
Harry
Harry brings over 20 years of experience and Citech qualifications, offering unparalleled knowledge across the spectrum of bike models. As a member of the order of cycle mechanic wizardry, it is forbidden to photograph him. So here is an artist’s impression.
Davide
Davide brings his Roman passion for precision and all things Italian, especially bikes , food and wine to our busy workshop. Davide is highly versatile and can normally be found at the front of the workshop making sure our clients’ receive the best service – especially if it was made in Italy and has Campagnolo components.
Martin
Founder of Elswood Cycles & Lead Mechanic. With over 25 years of industry experience, there isn’t much Martin can’t fix. Now settled in Somerset, he lends his expertise to our custom wheel-building service. Martin is a dedicated advocate for cycling and remains deeply passionate about the art of handcrafted wheel building.
Rowan
After many years working in a busy central London workshop and cycling around far flung places such west Africa Rowan joins Cycle Central as a senior mechanic – his passion is for all things steel and he can fix just about anything.
Nick
Dividing his time between his mobile Cargo Bike Care business and our workshop Nick is second only to our very own Harry in experience. He’s ridden and serviced every kind of bike in every kind environment; if you’ve been plagued by a persistent issue that no other mechanic can fix, make an appointment to see Nick.
